"Don't call it a comeback, we have officially been here for years, and we've got a lot to show for it..."

Horrorcore pioneers Three 6 Mafia have confirmed plans for a new series of live shows.

The group fused hard-hitting rap music with horror-leaning imagery, moving from the underground to the mainstream over a series of influential albums.

Original members Koopsta Knicca and Lord Infamous have died, but Three 6 Mafia have re-organised for a short burst of concerts.

In a statement the group confirmed their intention to perform at One Musicfest in Atlanta and the Loud Records 25th Anniversary show.

Three 6 Mafia will then perform in their home city of Memphis on October 12th, wth DJ Paul commenting:

"This year has already been a banner year for new music and production from both of us. I know this is what the fans have been asking for, so we're ready to bring them the classics, along with our new music in the best possible way."

"To quote LL, don't call it a comeback, we have officially been here for years, and we've got a lot to show for it. Just wait to see what comes next."
