Thomas Headon has shared new single ‘Middle Of The Night’.
Brought up in Melbourne, the songwriter relocated to London in search of his dreams. With his alt-pop visions going viral, it’s fair to say that Thomas Headon is busy making his fantasies a reality – and he’s not about to stop there.
Last year’s self-explanatory EP ‘Six Songs That Thomas Headon Likes And Thinks That You Would Like Too’ caused a ruckus online, with the songwriter now opening his account for 2024.
Out now, ‘Middle Of The Night’ blazes with positive energy, an alt-pop juggernaut that grapples with his blossoming ambitions. Thomas Headon has pinned his sound down in one place, absorbing his myriad influences into a unique personal style.
He says…
This song to me is the sound I’ve always been trying to achieve, it really blends so many of my influences into one song and feels like a step in the right direction. It’s basically a song about partying non-stop, waking up in the morning and feeling like it is still the night before, your head spinning, the ridiculous plans you make with your friends on nights out that never end up happening and feeling higher and larger than life.
I wrote and recorded it with two really great friends (Stephen Barnes and Caroline Pennell) and I think the energy of that really comes through. Anyway I hope people like it, it’ll be awkward if they don’t.
Tune in now.
