Thom Yorke has shared new solo song '5:17'.
The Radiohead frontman returns to solo duties for the new track, which appears on the Peaky Blinders soundtrack.
Out now, it returns to the eerie piano led soundscapes that dominated his Suspiria work, while also leaning on the more fleshed out solo arrangements that permeated 2019 full length 'ANIMA'.
Typically arresting, '5:17' is listed on Apple Music alongside another solo track, with 'That's How Horses Are' set to land on April 2nd.
'5:17' is used in Peaky Blinders, with director Anthony Byrne telling NME that both Thom Yorke and Radiohead band mate Jonny Greenwood have contributed to the score of the show's final season.
“I’m over the moon about all of that,” Byrne said “The music has always been really important historically, and I was really keen to bring a dramatic score into it.”
Ever the busy-bee, Thom Yorke is also playing live as part of new three-piece The Smile.
