A new documentary focussing on South London group Goat Girl has went live online.
The band are intensely creative, with each album occupying its own realm. This year saw Goat Girl returned with the folk-inflections of ‘Below The Waste’, a probing, questing return that got under the skin of anyone who spent time with it.
In our review at the time of release, CLASH noted that “the best material here ranks alongside Goat Girl’s finest work.”
Videographer Reality Breakdown has teamed with the band for a new documentary. Granted access to them during the construction of their recent album, the Making of Below The Waste shows an intimate aspect to their creativity.
A unique insight into the band, the film was given its premiere as part of London’s Doc’n Roll Film Festival, before being placed online.
A fascinating watch, you can check it out below.
