This Feeling rest their hats on really knowing how to throw a party. Launched from humble and hallowed origins in the Parker McMillan basement in 2006 East London, the gang have spent 10 years purveying the finest indie and emerging bands our green and pleasant island has to offer including Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Kasabian amongst the ranks. Never one's to rest on their laurels, 2016's event calendar saw a host of acts including Blossoms, Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Bohicas and The Struts selling out events and then going on to reach dizzy new heights internationally.
Entertaining hundreds of thousands of punters nationwide month in month out. As much of a family as it is a club night, beloved by musicians who have graced stages and scenesters alike – not many indie nights can count Noel and Liam as patrons.10 years is a milestone to be heralded in the current climate where nights come and go with the seasons.
In a series of gigs across the U.K, This Feeling will bring the party to you thanks to DJ sets by Carl Barat, The Cribs, The Coral and Cabbage, plus live sets from rising stars and Catfish And The Bottlemen's favourite new band Broken Hands, Bristol's indie rock gospel titans The Shimmer Band, Paul Weller's favourite new band White Room, Coventry 5-piece April who've earned early comparison with early Oasis, Luton riots The Wholls and Brummie boys Broken Witt Rebels who in Mikey Jonn's words sound like a "Kings of Leon, The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes supergroup".
With three monthly nights in London, monthly events in Manchester, Brighton, Glasgow, Southampton, Birmingham, Leicester and a spate of new launches in Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol, Hull, Barnsley and many more, towns are falling under the This Feeling spell at a rate of knots making for a nationwide phenomena and beacon of hope for emerging new bands.
Look out for the anniversary shows, including October 28th event in London at 229 with DJ set from Carl Barat and live performances from Broken Hands and hotly tipped White Room commanding the stage and a free shot of Jack Daniels fire for everyone at the bash it will be a night to remember.
