Third Man Records have shared the first two episodes of a new podcast about The White Stripes.
It's now 20 years since the seminal Detroit garage band released their debut album, and eight years since the duo decided to split.
Jack White's Third Man imprint will honour the anniversary with a new podcast series, charting the story of Jack and Meg's unlikely rise.
The first two episodes are online now, and it makes for a fascinating listen, charting the germination of a genuine underground scene.
Striped: The Story Of The White Stripes will features contributions from members of The MC5, Pavement, The Dirtbombs, and The Soledad Brothers, amongst others, as the first season unfolds.
