These New Puritans Album Guide

Interactive tool launched

Southend indie group These New Puritans have unveiled a new interactive guide to their album ‘Hidden’.

Feted by Hedi Slimane, lauded by the style press These New Puritans should have prepared for a backlash for their debut album was even released. Stung by accusations of being style over substance, the band retreated to their Southend rehearsal room.

Returning this year, These New Puritans released their ambitious second album ‘Hidden’. Mixing indie rock with experimental orchestration, the record featured Japanese drums and vast woodwind ensembles.

A hugely complex work, ‘Hidden’ was adored by anyone who heard it. A flawed gesture, perhaps, but These New Puritans proved that they care as deeply about music as their critics do about their trousers.

The band found the album almost impossible to tour, but in a new move These New Puritans have confirmed a series of special dates. The group are set to play ‘Hidden’ in its entirety accompanied by full orchestration.

Featuring woodwind, strings, percussion and more ‘Hidden’ will be brought vividly to life. As a special bonus, These New Puritans have unveiled an interactive guide to the album in order to ease fans into the shows.
