Theo Ogundipe has shared his brand new single ‘L.A.’

A rich, soulful offering from the Nigeria-born, London-raised creative, the track offers a glimpse into forthcoming debut EP ‘IN TRANSIT’. Weaving between a smokey, ethereal production, Ogundipe’s vocals are infused with warmth and desire, unveiling a fresh approach from the riser.

Having previously shared igniting single ‘Plato Freestyle’, the artist is now leaning further into his R&B, indie and hip-hop influences. Growing up amongst the sounds of Stevie Wonder, 2Pac and Biggie, Ogundipe has been fine-tuning a balance between more melodic and emotive cuts, using his music as a space for transparent communication. First picking up his pen in college, the multi-faceted artist has continuously found new angles for his performance, whether that’s on stage or on the big screen – largely recognised for his work in Top Boy.

Now turning towards his solo music career, Theo Ogundipe is leading with creative autonomy, self-producing his upcoming EP. Accompanied by visuals, ‘L.A.’ hints towards this turning point, a blissful, mature listen.

Speaking on the track, the artist expands:  “L.A. is a multi dimensional and universal Ode to LOVE.”

Tune in now.
