Them Crooked Vultures Debut Album

Tracklisting confirmed

Heavy rock super-group Them Crooked Vultures have confirmed details of their forthcoming debut album.

The super group seems to be back in vogue. Blame the internet, blame the credit crunch but for the first time since ELP were in their pomp musicians around the world are rushing to join forces.

Them Crooked Vultures announced their arrival earlier this year. Composing of alt rock dons Dave Grohl and Josh Homme, the two began working on some sludgy riffs.

Realising a childhood dream, the pair hooked up with one time Led Zeppelin bass player John Paul Jones. Since leaving the primordial rock gods the bass player has kept himself busy, releasing solo material and scoring orchestral passages for groups such as REM.

The three had jam sessions earlier this year, with Homme’s girlfriend Brody Dalle revealing the group’s existence in an interview.

Them Crooked Vultures have played only a handful of dates. The group recently stunned fans by performing shock support slots with Arctic Monkeys, whose album ‘Humbug’ was produced by Josh Homme.

Now the band have confirmed details of their debut album. Self-titled it is due for release on November 16th. Them Crooked Vultures are due to tour the UK throughout December, with more dates set to be announced.
