The Who Need A Director

It could be you...

The Who are asking fans to send in their videos for the classic ‘Quadrophenia’ track ‘5:15’.

Deciding to re-visit their classic concept album ‘Quadrophenia’ The Who left no stone unturned. The band have prepared a full box set for release, with ‘The Director’s Cut’ set to hit record racks on November 14th.

Containing a multitude of out takes, offcuts, live sessions and more the ‘Director’s Cut’ is the definitive picture of the period which produced ‘Quadrophenia’.

Accompanied by a flurry of special features, The Who have decided to hand some much needed coverage to a new director. ‘5:15’ is one of the centrepieces of ‘Quadrophenia’ and fans are being invited to craft their own video for the track.

Commenting on the competition, Pete Townshend said: “Over the years we’ve enjoyed working with many great video production teams so we are very excited to see what the next generation of creative thinkers are capable of producing”.

The ultimate prize for the winner includes $2000 and the chance to work with Universal Music Group’s marketing team to finalize the video which will be featured and promoted on thewho.com and The Who’s socialmedia channels.

– a signed Fender guitar by Pete Townshend
