The Walkmen have posted new tracks 'Dance With Your Partner' and 'Vermeer '65' online ahead of their upcoming UK tour.
Long time purveyors of raggedy ass indie rock, The Walkmen came over all country on recent full length 'Heaven'. Released on Bella Union earlier this year, the band matched their unruly songcraft to a rather more beautiful, Americana tinged palette.
Organising an Autumnal British tour, The Walkmen have decided to post two new tracks. 'Dance With Your Partner' is a languid ode to life on the wrong side of the tracks, before breaking out into a sprightly waltz. 'Vermeer '65' meanwhile, is a touching, sincere ballad whose nostalgia feels natural, unforced.
