Scottish indie rascals The View are due to release their new single ‘Temptation Dice’ on April 13th.
Storming out of Dundee with their second album ‘Which Bitch?’ The View are most definitely still on fire. Produced by Owen Morris, the album is chock full of guitar pop goodness, including ace single ‘Shock Horror’.
Racing into the Top Ten, ‘Which Bitch?’ was only denied the top spot by the Superbowl touring might of Bruce Springsteen. A mature and varied album, it sees the young group mature into a distinct songwriting force.
A rambunctious live act, the group are currently on a sell out tour of the UK playing a storming show at the Caird Hall in their hometown of Dundee.
A huge ‘back to basics’ tour last year saw The View get intimate with fans, but the massive itinerary saw the group descend into party mode. At a Nottingham date things got out of hand, with singer Kyle Falconer too drunk to get onstage.
Now back and on fighting form, the band have been buoyed by the news that their track ‘Wasteland’ will soundtrack Nike’s new ad which will star Joe Cole, Fernando Torres and many more.
