Reformed British music legends The Verve have scored a top five hit with new single “Love Is Noise”, according to the latest chart round ups.
This week’s singles chart sees Wigan’s finest reach the grand heights of number five with “Love Is Noise”, after storming performances at both Glastonbury and T In The Park. The track is taken from The Verve’s new album “Forth” which is due to be released on August 25th.
Elsewhere in the top ten, summer anthem “Dance Wiv Me” by Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris has slipped down to number three while Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” occupies the top spot.
In other chart news, Noah And The Whale have breached the top ten with their charming sunshine melody “Five Years Time”. Sitting proudly at number seven, the single is fast becoming a festival anthem.
