The Twang Single Plans

New UK tour dates confirmed

Brummie indie rock types The Twang have confirmed details of a new single and a lengthy series of tour dates.

The Twang formed in 2001 and took the Baggy era as their template. Harking back to an era when indie and dance inter-mingled, the group appeared to be inspired by the lysergic rantings of Shaun Ryder.

Quickly gaining a following across the Midlands The Twang’s material spoke of life in a dead end job dreaming of something better. With their dual frontmen the band are a stunning live attraction with anthem after anthem to get the crowd moving.

Debut album ‘Love It When I Feel Like This’ shattered the charts, soaring in a number three. Producing their second album hot on its heels The Twang returned earlier this year with their new record ‘Jewellery Quarter’.

Trailed by the free download ‘Another Bus’ The Twang toured the UK before the album’s release, yet at every show the fans seemed to know the words to every song. Follow up single ‘Barney Rubble’ was a favourite at this year’s festivals, with The Twang taking their epic charm to a field near you.

Taken from their new album ‘Jewellery Quarter’ the forthcoming single ‘Encouraging Sign’ is a blast of vintage Britpop. Sprightly indie pop the track is already a singalong at their shows, and shows every signs of becoming an anthem as summer draws to a close.

The Twang are set to release their new single ‘Encouraging Signs’ on October 12th. Full tour dates are as follows:
