With the imminent release of The Streets’ fourth album ‘Everything Is Borrowed’ on the 15th September, Mike Skinner has announced a full UK tour to coincide with the release.
The tour will begin in Glasgow on the 4th of October, and wind-down in expected celebratory style in Leeds on the 19th of October.
Skinner’s new album, the follow-up to 2006’s ‘The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living’, will be Skinner’s first album recorded and written with live musicians, with the celebrated urban poet also eager to confirm he has steered clear of any modern references on the record. So don’t expect any grime-laced odes to Kebabs and Top Up Cards this time around, then.
