The Specials are set to release new album 'Encore' on February 1st.

The 2-Tone legends remain a righteous live act, and have decided to go into the studio to work on their first album of new material in three decades.

Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter will unite on the new album, joined by drummer Kenrick Rowe and Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock.

Out on February 1st, it won't feature The Specials' founder Jerry Dammers. Amongst the originals on display 'Encore' will also feature a version of The Equals’ ‘Black Skinned Blue-Eyed Boys’ and a cover of ‘Blam Blam Fever’.
