The Soft Pack are set to release their new album ‘Strapped’ through Mexican Summer on October 1st.
When The Soft Pack delivered their debut album, the band simply put their live show down on record. They had 12 songs, so they recorded 12 songs – ten went on the album, two became B-sides.
For their second album, though, the band wanted to experiment. Due for release on October 1st, the material on ‘Strapped’ was seemingly whittled down from an initial batch of some eighty songs.
Set to be released through Mexican Summer, The Soft Pack have unveiled a preview for ‘Strapped’. Taken from the album, ‘Saratoga’ is all chugging post-punk bass, rattling drums and chiming guitars.
