The Soft Moon are set to release their new album ‘Zeros’ through Captured Tracks on November 5th.
A vehicle for Oakland’s Luis Vasquez, The Soft Moon won overwhelming acclaim with their self-titled debut back in 2010. Claustrophobic, home recorded dark wave with subtle psychedelic undertones, this was a deeply provocative form of songwriting.
Piecing together new ideas, a second album from The Soft Moon began to formulate while the band were on the road. Tied together earlier this year, ‘Zeros’ is set to be released through Captured Tracks on November 5th.
By way of a preview, the band have posted ‘Die Life’ online. Available to stream or download, this is a brittle, near Industrial update on their sound.
