The Smile will release new ‘Europe: Live Recordings 2022’ EP on March 10th.
The band – Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner – made their debut last year, sharing the fantastic album ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’. Hitting the road, it quickly became apparent that The Smile was a project in evolution, adding new material as they went.
Recently sharing a full live album recorded at Montreux Jazz Festival, The Smile have now laid out plans for a further EP, and a batch of North American shows.
So, the EP. ‘Europe: Live Recordings 2022’ will be released on March 10th, featuring fresh takes on material from the debut LP, and a full-band rendition of Thom Yorke’s 2009 solo track ‘FeelingPulledApartByHorses’.
The Smile will hit North America this summer; 14 dates have been unveiled, kicking off with the band’s first ever show in Mexico City on June 22nd.
