London and Liverpool will become joint hosts for this year’s Electric Proms in October.
The event, taking place from the 22nd to 26th October, will feature acts such as The Last Shadow Puppets, The Streets and crooner Tony Christie kicking off the event with a show on theRoyal Daffodil Ferry.
The party will spread across many major venues in each city, with over 80 acts set to perform over the four-day jaunt, and this year will also get extended network coverage from the BBC.

The Last Shadow Puppets, The Streets,Nitin Sawhney, Tony Christie,Wave Machines, Wild Beasts and XX Teens with more acts to be announced soon.
Tickets will go on sale in September
