The Orb will play a big show at London's Carling Academy this December, the band have announced.

After a summer that's seen them continuing their ever-present Festival appearances, the duo are now finishing 2008 - the year that has marked a 20 year career span for the band- by announcing the date in December.

Having released their thirteenth album last year in the shape of 'The Dream', the highly-influential ambient house dons continue to blow their loyal fans into erm, Orblivion. Tickets for their London show on the 19th December are available below.
