The Murder Capital will release new album ‘Gigi’s Recovery’ on January 20th.
The Irish band’s excellent 2019 album made their name, with the group taking time to perfect a follow up. Teaming with producer John Congleton, sessions have pushed The Murder Capital to the brink, inaugurating something fresh, and challenging.
Playing London’s Lafayette last night, the packed out intimate show bristled with energy, with the group airing their new material for the first time. Due out on January 20th via Human Season, new album ‘Gigi’s Recovery’ is led by new single ‘A Thousand Lives’, which is online now.

“Knowing that the day is only X-hours long, alongside my understanding of how love can be the true restorative seed, means that if and when you are so lucky to find it (and it is true) the seemingly small glance that is our lifetime could never contain enough of those days or those hours. Even a thousand of those lifetimes would never be enough.”
