The Men are set to release an EP of new acoustic-based material later this year.
Think you know The Men? Ferocious volume, traces of hardcore and the odd hint of breakneck Americana, right? Well, the New York group are about to spring a surprise.
Whilst recording recent – highly recommended – album 'New Moon' the band took advantage of their rural surroundings and lack of a timescale. Laying down a number of acoustic cuts, the best of these are set to be gathered on a forthcoming EP.
Titled 'Campfire Songs' the EP will be available through Sacred Bones on October 14th. The 12 inch vinyl edition comes with a 12-page photo book 11.5" × 11.5" insert featuring never before seen photography, detailing the construction of the material.
