Swedish indie pop types The Mary Onettes are preparing to release their new album 'Hit The Waves' later this year.
Swedish isn't exactly short of harmonious indie pop outfits. In fact, the Scandinavian country could be accused of running a virtual monopoly on new bands with bowl cuts, jangling guitars and Vox organs.
Yet The Mary Onettes seem to have slipped through the cracks. Hugely respected in their native Sweden, the four piece have released two full length albums of shimmering, glistening songwriting.
Now they're back. New album 'Hit The Waves' – the band's first in almost four years – is set to be released on March 12th, and contains some of their most inspiring material yet.
