The Last Dinner Party’s Abigail Morris Guests On CBeebies Bedtime Stories At Glastonbury

She's made it...

The Last Dinner Party singer Abigail Morris has stepped in to read a bedtimes story for CBeebies viewers.

The slot is a TV staple, with a number of musicians taking part – from Foo Fighters’ figure Dave Grohl to Dolly Parton, Christine and the Queens, and Ed Sheeran.

The BBC was on-site at Glastonbury over the weekend, so – naturally enough – they looked to the line-up for some guest presenters.

The Last Dinner Party played a magnificent set to a packed out Other Stage, celebrating the huge success of debut album ‘Prelude To Ecstasy’.

A vivid storyteller, singer Abigail Morris stepped in to read one of her favourite childhood stories for CBeebies. Selecting San Francisco, King Of The Disco, the book was penned by author Sarah Tagholm (and illustrated by Binny Talib).

Now online in full, you can re-watch it on the iPlayer – five minutes 33 seconds into the broadcast HERE.
