The Kills have confirmed plans for a new single and a Brixton Academy show.
The Kills seem to distil dirty, filthy rock ‘n’ roll into three minute chunks. Returning with their album ‘Blood Pressures’ earlier this year the duo showed no signs of letting their smoky chemistry fade away.
A taut, menacing return the album spawned a handful of live appearances. Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart have demolished stages across Europe and are now planning to return to the UK for a handful of shows.
First, though, the band are planning to release a new single. Drawn from their recent album, ‘Baby Says’ is due to be released on October 24th with the track set to be given a seven inch vinyl pressing alongside a digital download.

Upcoming live shows include a special date in Manchester. Booked to perform at the Warehouse Project, The Kills were asked to take part by none other than The Horrors. Arranging a warm up show in Brighton the night before, the band are now planning to hit Brixton.
Set to play Brixton Academy on December 3rd, the show marks the return of The Kills to London. A fan only pre-sale will be available from 9am on Wednesday 7th September before passes go on general sale this Friday (September 9th).
