Britain doesn’t really do rock music. Perhaps it’s the absence of irony, but the best rock bands – in the pure, honest sense of the word – tend to come from the United States.
Which is perhaps why The Joy Formidable have found success outside of the UK. The Welsh trio hooked up with Foo Fighters last year, catapulting them to widespread attention across North America.
With a hefty fanbase behind them, the band recently sealed off work on their new album. ‘Wolf’s Law’ will be released in January, with new single ‘Cholla’ due shortly.
