The Invisible have posted the first track to be taken from their forthcoming second album.
Matching searing intelligence with stunning pop hooks, The Invisible’s debut album made quite the dent on its release back in 2009. Finding critical acclaim – not least on this very website – the London band seemed destined for great things.
However as we all know, great things take time. Bogged down in the studio, the band have finally completed their second album. Set to be released this year, The Invisible are to preview their new LP with the single ‘Protection’.
Set to gain a 12 inch vinyl release on March 26th, The Invisible have recruited new Warp signing Kwes to craft a remix for the flip.

Meanwhile, The Invisible have also confirmed a number of UK tour dates. A quite special live proposition, the London trio will open their account in Manchester on March 28th at TROF Fallowfield.
Dates continue with a London show due to take place on March 29th, before The Invisible close the tour with dates in Leeds and Bristol.
