A true force of nature, The Icarus Line have steadily ploughed a path through the left field for so long that they appear to be in their own post code.
Last year's 'Slave Vows' was an intense, feral return, as pleasingly cerebral as it was crushingly physical.
Since then, the band have played dates around the globe, proving that their appetite for convulsion remained as strong as ever.
Now companion piece 'Avowed Slavery' is due to be released. Out on July 7th, it's much more than an after thought – more a shot in the arm for the spirit which ran through the band's previous album.
A mini LP, 'Avowed Slavery' will be released on July 7th.
There's no music as yet, so here's tracklisting:
Side 1
1a. Leeches and Seeds
2a. Junkadelic
3a. Raise Yer Crown
Side 2
1b. Salem Slims
2b. The Father / The Priest
