The Horrors’ Tom Furse Shares New Music

But what exactly is 'Extensions'?

The Horrors' Tom Furse has shared new music under the title 'Extensions'.

The Horrors are crate-diggers at heart. Furious record collectors, the band salvage sounds, ideas and project them into their own imagination.

Synth extrapolator Tom Cowan has always maintained a solo career, completing remixes under his nom de guerre Tom Furse.

A few moments ago, the band's account pointed to a piece of new music which appears to go one step further. 'Extensions' is labelled 'psychedelic' and 'instrumental hip hop' – it's easy to see why, with both snippets of material echoing the sampledelic explorations of Brainfeeder.

Reference points could include Ananda Shankar and Rotary Connection, and – while there's not exactly a lot to go on – 'Extensions' is certainly enough to prick our interest. A potential solo EP? You'll know when we find out…

Listen to it now.
