The Go! Team return with glorious new single ‘Divebomb’.

The band’s kaleidoscopic approach to pop is unrivalled, with their sample-delic production techniques matched to an ear for picking out superb collaborators.

New album ‘Get Up Sequences Part Two’ is out on February 3rd, with leader Ian Parton describing the project as “an international patchwork… a global fruit salad. A United Nations of Sound”.

New single ‘Divebomb’ is out now, and it’s a sparkling meteor on pop’s night sky, illuminating the firmament with dazzling melodic energy. Tapping into old skool hip-hop flavours, the lyrics are actually hard-hitting and completely on-point, tackling American impositions on a woman’s right to choose.

Detroit based rapper IndigoY adds some guest bars, and it’s a punchy, vital return from the much-loved group.

“Protest songs have always been a balancing act,” says The Go! Team’s Ian Parton. “If you’re too sledgehammer it’s cringey – like the Scorpions’ ‘Winds of Change’ or something – but at the same time given the stuff they’re trying to pull with abortion rights it feels weird to ignore it.”
