The Gaslight Anthem have shared new song ‘Little Fires’.
The band’s new album ‘History Books’ lands on October 27th, and it features some special guests. The title track bulldozed its way online a few weeks back, bolstered by a featured vocal from The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen.
The American group hit the road for a headline tour in Autumn, playing dates across the US and Canada. New song ‘Little Fires’ leads the way, and it’s packed with energy – The Gaslight Anthem tap into their concert prowess, as well as illuminating their punk roots.
A song about willing explosions to occur, ‘Little Fires’ is packed with unkempt energy, racing to its emphatic conclusion. With PUP frontman Stefan Babcock on hand, the song becomes a volcano of rock fury.
Frontman Brian Fallon says…
“‘Little Fires’ is like the opposite end of the spectrum from the frustration you feel in ‘History Books’. It’s an empowerment song, about refusing to play along with the kind of people who always seem to be throwing a grenade into the room for no particular reason.”
Tune in now.
