American group The Features are to release their new single ‘The Temporary Blues’ on May 17th.
The Features have done things the hard way. The band’s retro-rock thrills have made them cult heroes in the United States, but the band have been unable to break into the mainstream.
However a little favour from some friends in high places has done the band a world of good. The Features were amongst the first signings to Kings Of Leon’s new label Serpents And Snakes.
Releasing their new album earlier this year, The Features found a broad new audience. Set to support Kings Of Leon at their massive Hyde Park show, the have now confirmed details of a new single.
Taken from their recent album, ‘The Temporary Blues’ is already picking up airplay. A breezy summer anthem, expect to hear this floating across a campsite at a festival near you.
Released on May 17th, the single comes as The Features gear up for the enormous Hyde Park show. By way of contrast, the American rockers have confirmed a series of intimate British dates.
Opening on April 19th in London, The Features are set to play small scale shows in Birmingham, Glasgow and more. Finishing in Manchester’s Roadhouse on April 22nd tickets for the shows are set to go on sale soon.
With The Features due to confirm more dates over the following weeks, the band look set to make quite an impression over the summer.
The Features are set to play the following shows:
April
19 London The Garage
20 Birmingham Hare And Hounds
21 Glasgow King Tuts
22 Manchester Roadhouse
