The Fall Plot New Album

'Your Future Our Clutter' out soon

Legendary Manchester post-punk ensemble The Fall are to release their new album ‘Your Future Our Clutter’ on April 26th.

The Fall are simply one of a kind. Emerging from Manchester’s highly creative post-punk milieu, the band soon became an outlet for the bizarre visions of Mark E Smith.

Part grumpy old drunk, part shamanic hip priest the singer led the band through multiple line up changes. Still in existence, The Fall signed to Domino Records last year and began working on a new album.

Since then, little has been heard from the band. An appearance at Hinterland last year saw Mark E Smith stalk the stage, obviously still recovering from an operation on his hip. Dosed up on painkillers the singer gave a menacing performance, echoing the dense groove of the band’s music.

Now The Fall have confirmed details of their new album. ‘Your Future Our Clutter’ breaks a period of silence for the band, and sees The Fall enter a new decade with a renewed sense of fury.

Due to be released on April 26th the album will be available on a number of formats. As well as CD and digital download The Fall will release ‘Your Future Our Clutter’ on gatefold double vinyl.

The band will follow this with a full scale tour. The Fall will open the dates in Edinburgh on April 24th, before heading off around the country. Dates in Nottingham, London and more follows before the band take part in the Pavement curated All Tomorrows Parties.
