The Fall have taken a break from recording (really..) to tour the UK this autumn. The band have recently released their 27th album- April’s surprisingly accessible ‘Imperial Wax Solvent’, and have now announced a series of dates across the UK in the coming months.
Mark E. Smith and his lo.fi cohorts have also announced their London shows at The Hackney Empire on 31 October & 1 November are ‘special seated shows’.
Continually championed by legendary DJ John Peel throughout their career, the band have recently gained further plaudits by Henry Rollins, who told NME “If you’re smart, you should be a fan of The Fall..It’s like a magazine subscription; if there’s one that doesn’t thrill you, just wait and before long there’ll be another.”
We’re sure album 28 will be just around the corner too.
