The Darkness have shared their new single ‘I Hate Myself’ in full.
The much-loved UK rock gurus are back on the march, playing a string of Rough Trade in-stores this week in London, Nottingham, and Liverpool.
The band will pull out all the stops, ahead of new album ‘Dreams On Toast’ – which lands on March 28th – and its subsequent nationwide headline tour.
Out now, ‘I Hate Myself’ is a full-on glam stomper, merging the pummelling sonic assault of Motorhead, say, with the sass of Marc Bolan in the process.
A preening piece of self-deprecating rock music, the tongue-in-cheek humour is coupled of the band’s undeniable chops.

“At last, a joyous, raucous celebration of self-loathing. I think without regrets we stand to learn less from our experiences – to deny them and compartmentalise them is to deny ourselves an opportunity to grow.
