The Covasettes Return With New Single ‘Love In Polaroid’

It's a ready-made summer anthem...

The Covasettes have shared new single ‘Love In Polaroid’.

The indie gang blend potent melodies with a punchy live dynamic, developing a rabid fanbase in the process. Sold out tours criss-cross the country, while The Covasettes have racked up more than 12 million Spotify streams in the process.

A slew of dates have been confirmed for October, with the nationwide tour hitting London’s Lafayette on October 12th.

Produced by the band’s very own Jamie McIntyre – a talented engineer in his own right – new single ‘Love In Polaroid’ is an exultant summer anthem. Mixed by John Catlin (Inhaler, Jordan Mackampa, Talk Show), it’s a red-hot indie burner, with a dose of pop in the chorus.

Built for festival season, ‘Love In Polaroid’ captures a band on the rise, the quiet confidence permeating every note. A song of young love, the single highlights The Covasettes strengths, a band absolutely at the peak of their powers.

The band comment…

It’s almost as if when the clocks go back, something within this band chimes and all of a sudden we come alive. We were born to make songs to drive along to on a hot summer day with your pals and this song is ready to do all the above and more.

It’s a really fun song about the initial stages of dating someone and getting into a relationship where everything feels so fresh, exciting and almost dream-like. I tried to encapsulate that feeling in a sense where it’s like nothing can do wrong for you, that’s how I want people to feel when they listen to it.

Tune in now.
