The Chats Share Stomach-Churning ‘The Clap’ Video

New album 'High Risk Behaviour' confirmed...

Australian punks The Chats will release new album 'High Risk Behaviour' on March 27th.

Part of a wave of vital, acerbic punk acts from Australia, the band ended 2019 by packing out London's Kentish Town Forum.

Laying out their plans for the next 12 months, The Chats will release a new album this Spring.

'High Risk Behaviour' lands on March 27th – order it HERE – with the record clocking in at a mere 28 and a half minutes.

All meat and no gristle, this is garage punk par excellence, with singer/bass plater Eamon Sandwith explaining…

“I don’t want to make the songs boring, so I just keep them short and sweet man whose mullet became an international talking point following the success of 2017 viral hit 'Smoko. We try not to think about it or complicate it too much. You don’t want to force it or the song’s going to turn out crap.”

New single 'The Clap' is a rabid piece of punk rock rama-lama, a tale of sexual deviance and the itchy consequences.

The video is a stomach-churning affair, featuring some amateur-hour hospital treatment before ending with a king-sized dong.

To be honest, we would expect nothing less – tune in now.
