The Chase have shared their debut EP 'Not The F*cking Game Show' in full.
The band's biting indie songwriting recalls some UK greats – think The Jam's formative singles, or early Blur – while also nodding to the energy of their contemporaries.
One to file alongside The Lathums in the UK indie resurgence, The Chase have just wrapped up a breakneck English tour.
Sharing a flurry of singles, the band have now released their brand new EP.
'Not The F*cking Game Show' aims to show their breadth, moving from potent, energy fan-favourites through to rather more lush, widescreen songwriting.
Speaking about the EP, the band claimed…
“If my mind was a TV and you were flicking through the channels, each track on this EP would be a different TV show. From drama to comedy to biopic, it’s an anthology of what it’s like navigating through your 20s. Not the F*cking Game Show is a snapshot of the band throughout the turbulent ups and downs of the last few years. It’s an insight to us as people and the band’s personality is imprinted on every song from start to finish…”
