US punk rockers The Bronx are set to return, with their third self-titled album due to be released on November 10th it has been announced.
The Bronx formed in California in 2002, and quickly gathered a local reputation due to their ferocious live show. Very much lone voices in the desert, their hardcore sound has much in common with new groups such as Gallows and Canadian band Fucked Up.
Astonishingly, the band have already released two self-titled albums. Closely entwined with the US punk scene, the band were even asked to play the legendary group Black Flag in the film ‘What We Do Is Secret’.
According to previous interviews The Bronx were working on two separate albums – one of punk record, the other influences by mariachi music. The new album seems to be the punk version – produced by Dave Shiffman, the record clocks in at an astonishing 33 minutes and 45 seconds.
