The Breeders Share Beautiful ‘Live In Big Sur’ Session

A stripped back live performance...

The Breeders have shared a new ‘Live In Big Sur’ session.

The video is a stripped back performance clip; beautifully shot, it features the American legends playing four songs – ‘Divine Hammer’, ‘Do You Love Me Now’, ‘Drivin’ on 9’ and ‘Invisible Man’.

Filmed by James Brylowski with illustrations from animator Pedro Eboli it’s a wonderfully engrossing clip, so much more than a standard live session.

Performing new arrangements of familiar songs, The Breeders locate fresh nuance in some classic work. Filmed at the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, California, it’s well worth your time.

The band comment…

Last fall at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur our show was rained out. The sky cleared just as dusk fell & someone said: let’s go into the forest. So in a grove of redwoods we played a few songs for the hermit thrushes and spotted owls. Thank you Mark Satterthwaite & crew for filming it.

Tune in now.

The Breeders are on tour right now – catch them at London’s Troxy on June 25th.
