The Black Keys are set to give new EP 'Tour Rehearsal Tapes' a digital release on October 15th.
At heart, The Black Keys remain two guys in a room. Sure, their live line up might boast the occasional guest musician and the odd effect or two but deep down, the Black Keys still revolve around the chemistry of Pat Carney and Dan Auerbach.
Now the pair are plotting a new release. 'Tour Rehearsal Tapes' does exactly what it says on the tin, with the Black Keys simply setting the tapes rolling during warm up sessions for their recent world tour. Focussing on some of their more potent live moments, the digital EP opens with 'Dead And Gone' and contains more than a few highlights.
