Canadian four-some The Beaches will release new album ‘Blame My Ex’ on September 15th.
The band formed in high school, releasing their self-titled EP back in 2013. Swooping to viral fame, the group inked a deal with Island Records, with debut album ‘Late Show’ taking the four-piece to the next level.
Continually moving forwards, The Beaches – they took their name from the area they grew up in – recently returned with a new single. Well, that’s not all: an all-new album will land later this year.
Out on September 15th, ‘Blame My Ex’ is trailed by new single ‘Me & Me’, an all-out indie pop fizzer. Defiant of lyric and fun in its approach, ‘Me & Me’ finds singer Jordan Miller pushing back against loneliness and isolation.
She sings: “save your pity, bitch / it’s kind of fun, just me and me / won’t waste my life self-loathing.”
Tune in now.
