Evolving from the fetid imagination of Future Sound Of London, The Amorphous Androgynous began life as a series of online and radio mixes.
The duo surfed through the lesser explored regions of record shops across the globe, uncovering all manner of gems in the process. Two celebrates album releases followed, while a proposed collaboration with Noel Gallagher resulted in a truly mind-boggling Oasis remix.
Now the pair are set to return. New album 'A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble (Exploding In Your Mind) – The Wizards Of Oz ' is due to be released on March 16th, and features sounds which will melt your cerebral cortex.
The tracklisting is under wraps, with The Amorphous Androgynous placing two cuts online. Cybotron – a proto-techno project – blaze through the spacious, Eastern sounding ‘Raga In Asia Minor’, while Sunset Strip hit ‘Mercy Killing’.
