Tems digs a little deeper on glorious new single ‘Me & U’.
The Nigerian icon recently returned with her excellent ‘If Orange Was A Place’ EP, a project that perfectly illustrated her R&B leaning sound. Superbly soulful, the vocalist’s sense of control imbues her work with philosophical aspect, with Tems always looking towards the truth.
Out now, new single ‘Me & U’ is a vehicle for Tems to analyse the self, a vastly personal document of autobiography. Written entirely by Tems, production was helmed by Guilybeatz and Tems herself.
A song that comes from a deep place, ‘Me & U’ is the sound of Tems grasping her role:

The ‘luxe video for ‘Me & U’ was shot in Malta, with Tems handling direction herself – she’s a true multi-hyphenate.
