Teether and Kuya Neil have shared new song ‘BLUSH’.
The duo will align on debut album ‘YEARN IV’, which is set to land on May 2nd via Chapter Music. New single ‘BLUSH’ follows swiftly on from Valentine’s, and it finds the pair revelling in attraction.
A soft-hewn piece of hip-hop romance, ‘BLUSH’ playfully moves between the ideals of true love, and the pressures of reality.
Fun, witty, and imaginative, ‘BLUSH’ remains tethered to their left-field roots, a kind of abstract pop song with a killer beat.
The pair comment…
“It’s about revelling in true love while living in a less-than-ideal reality. The sun was out and we didn’t have to go to our day jobs for a bit so we were feeling it. But you know at the start of a trip when you are aware it’s going to pass you by quickly? That looming return to reality was still present, hence the nods to some depressing truths still being there in this almost idyllic love song.”
