Is your diet of vapid rock ‘n’ roll fodder leaving you feeling empty and worth little to society?
Here’s something easy you can do to remedy that. Purchase the Teenage Cancer Trust’s DVD of their annual week of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall.
Featuring over an hour of performances from top acts, the DVD line-up includes The Who, Noel Gallagher and The Cure, among others.
Roger Daltrey of The Who, a TCT patron, created the event with the intent of raising awareness and funds for TCT units in NHS hospitals. Specifically designed for teenagers, the environments of the units, in combination with the expert staff involved, have led to noticeably increasing survival rates of young patients.
Specialized care centers are gaining popularity as more and more young people are becoming afflicted with cancer. In fact, every day 6 youths are diagnosed in the UK.
The DVD will be available on 14th April.
