Louisiana rapper TBoss has shared her new single ‘Pick A Side’.
The Baton Rouge artist blew up on YouTube, sharing a flurry of tracks under the name Bigg Troye. Changing her name to TBoss, she was drawn into the orbit of illustrious New Orleans rap label Cash Money Records, becoming their latest signing.
With the label’s clout behind her, new single ‘Pick A Side’ is going to go off like a rocket. Both subtle and brash in equal measure, the buoyant piano notes in the arrangement shower her bars in light notes of melody.
TBoss is way out in front, her bars illustrating an artist who is working with total confidence. As she puts it on the song itself: “Bitch, I’m six stars.”
Backed by a colourful video, TBoss’ star is most definitely on the rise – oh, and don’t think we haven’t noticed that its International Woman’s Day, too…
