Taylor Swift Is Topping The Merch Charts This Christmas

By a massive margin...

Taylor Swift is topping merch charts this Christmas a new study reveals.

Fans are eager to get merch from their favourite artists this Christmas, and artists are getting ever-more inventive in the way they approach this. From t-shirts to vinyl via specially produced, ultra-limited artefacts, it’s a rapidly growing marketplace.

Pens.com have curated a study, focussing on search volume for each artist’s merch collections. The numbers are intriguing, with Taylor Swift racing ahead.

The study shows that Taylor Swift leads globally with 596,195 searches worldwide, more than double Harry Styles in second place. It comes during a year of triumph for the American icon, with her Eras tour grossing £10 million per night.

This Christmas fans will be hunting out scrapbooks and friendship bracelets, with the most sought-after product being ‘Taylor Swift t-shirt’, which accumulates 7,016 monthly searches.

Alongside this, Taylor Swift’s re-recording project continues apace – ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is the latest.
