Tasty New Cider, Tasty New Talent

Spotlighting some of the newest Scottish acts

Will Sweden’s home brewed cider help to shine some light upon some of Scotland’s finest brewed musical talents?

Throughout the summer months of June, July and August, the summer must have Kopparberg cider is showcasing some of the newest Scottish talent by holding the Kopparberg Collective.

The Kopparberg Collective consists of three musical programmes which will highlight what Scotland has to offer, hopefully raising the profiles of the bands and helping them eventually become household names.

It will take place across Scotland from Glasgow, Ayr, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, and the newly adopted musical capital of Scotland…Dundee.

The programmes include the ‘Singles Club’, releasing exclusive double-A side tracks from the six acts which are produced onto exclusive, limited edition 7” vinyl. ‘One Big Tree’ which takes places at the Hydro Connect Festival underneath the ‘Kopparberg Tree’, festival goers will be able to enjoy the taste of summer sun, cider and relish the music of the new acts and as well as some old names.

The ‘Kopparberg Collective Privilege Card’ is designed to allow lucky cardholders to enjoy the summer to the max. It allows free entry into club nights across Scotland as well as automatic entry into a prize draw for Hydro Connect Festival tickets.

The bands…The Ads, The Moth and The Mirror, Kobai, Juno Vision, Injuns, and D Bass Collective all possess the charm that Scotland is known for. Glasgow based band The Ads have a vibrant and energetic sound that is perfect for the summer…their clear Scottish accent cannot be mistaken and is the epitome of absolute class.

Kopparberg is uncomplicated cider, brewed in Sweden…hopefully their support will raise the profiles of these uncomplicated talents.
